Missed Opportunity at Union Sports Blog

I guess this was a big week for the Miners. If you were not at the game, or listened on KNCO, it is hard to find the score. The power of a blog is the rapid flow of information. Brian Hamilton missed an opportunity to post the game scores and give us the mud bowl highlights, tease us for his Monday Column.

Was at the game---21-0 favor of the Miners---and heard, more than anything else---"good score" instead of "good game". Either Humphers pulled a phenomenol rabbit out of the hat or HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL was not well-represented by ANY EXCELLING TEAMS. Wonder what the play-offs will hold. Certainly hope it's a FOOTBALL GAME, not a GIMME. (What we kind of move toward "accepting" as we see CHOSEN FEW "make it" in the sport. Proven through my "theory" that if you can't play you can't score, you can't be recognized---the "chosen" playing, the unchosen providing financially from the sidelines.)

Thanks, after walking to the ditch for the paper, found the score on the front page of the paper. Perfer my news online.
