More local hate for the Bush family

Tom Finnerty shows his hate for President Bush in "Barbara steps over line," September 13,
Barbara Bush, after viewing thousands of refugees from New Orleans crowded for shelter in the Astrodome:

"And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this - this (she chuckles slightly) is working very well for them."

She really said that. She really chuckled. I heard the audio recording.
Really? I listened to the audio and cannot hear any chuckle. Could it all be in Mr Finnity's imagination?

First the comment was extracted from a lengthier exchange in which Mrs. Bush expressed compassion for the Katrina refugees she had encountered. But, that did not stop Mr. Finnity from taking this quote out of context, and did others who want to damage the President. Second, this appears to be coordinated smear campaign, you can find Mr Finnerty’s words, or similar, on 1,269 web sites this morning.

You can down load the mp3 audio here. You tell me if you hear a chuckle? Is Mr. Finnerty just a Bush hater dupe?

Forget the "chuckle", the statement was all telling---"...this is working very well for them..." determines that they're somehow "better off" after the beating they took? C'mon Russ---is that how you see it? You, as you argue "chuckle", must then defend the "underprivileged" giving up, (not their choice), their bus to the "more deserving" on the way to Houston? How far is too far to go as the "defend game" defends against the "blame game"?

I guess I need to add here, the response I left for Mr. Cancilla--a BUSH PROMOTER in full stride--- same Opinion Page:

"Not good enough. PLENTY of evidence exists to prove that Bush, in his role repaying friends for votes cast, COMPLETELY ignored HOMELAND SECURITY in IT'S most crucial role -- protecting it's people AT HOME. There are several "references" to Bush "pleading" with and "begging" that officials in Louisiana "allow" HELP in advance of the disaster, but nothing DOCUMENTED. And even if it were, does that EXCUSE the president of NON RESPONSE in the face of CERTAIN CATASTROPHE, even as he is UP LINE from his "appointee"? NEVER! We the people DESERVE, (remember, we're spending "billions & billions" for it), THE SECURITY we "think" we're buying. THE PRESIDENT blew it, and any "blind allegiance" you've sworn to uphold him with falls flat on it's face as you defend the undefendable. I know, right versus wrong is SELDOM considered, loyalty to party lines the message delivered from the IGNORANT, in this case, those IGNORING Bush as the BUMBLER that he was, is, and will always be. Instead of propping up a puppet, consider cutting his strings---and before we're LEGITIMATELY hit with something we can't outrun!"

And Russ---Barbara is a known chuckler---not hard to "imagine" one here.

Barbara has had her criticisms of the relief effort, of course. Frankly, I don't know or care if the Bush family is cruel and mean in person. They could be saints. This would not excuse their crimes one iota.
