Junk Journalism on display

An often asked question. Why do citizens no longer trust the main stream press? Why has journalism fallen lower and lower into an abyss of distortion and omission in the last few years. Read this analysis of Newsweeks coverage of Katrina and you will get a perfect example of why I have not read Newsweek since Kerry ran for President.

No one should trust corporate media. They will tell the masters' agenda. This often may mean slightly liberal coverage (though FAIR has shown that the media has become more and more conservative even within the narrowly defined spectrum), but a consistently different account of the world must be found elsewhere. Bloggers have many debits, but they do offer new information.
