Jill Walker writes in Letter to the Editor Election hacking, November 18, 2004

Contrary to public opinion, the voting machines were not connected to any network. The votes were downloaded on to memory cards, and entered in the counting computer, under direct supervision of the election officials, observed by poll watchers.
At the last minute, Mr. Bush's numbers jumped up to overtake Kerry's lead in several states. You would have to be a complete moron not to know that a right-wing hack job was taking place.
Really? Early votes come from the blue cities on political maps. The later votes come from rural counties and suburbs, the red counties with red cities. The Bush votes came from rural counties, not early reporting cities, thus the disparity.
All this was ignored by the news media except for MSNBC, which is giving this total coverage.
Yes, MSNBC is the least watched cable network, because they have lost their credibility. On the other hand, the FOX network is growing, it is becoming the network of political record.

Tell me what you think
